Headed to the Republic of Honduras tomorrow with my son and 20
Church members and 47 others overall to do some work on a Christian school for
children in the 2nd poorest country in the western hemisphere.
Grateful for the opportunity to spend some quality time with my son helping people in economic need before he heads off to college while also learning from the
amazing faith they have in our almighty God.

Gardening Tips for Beginners....
Several of my friends have
asked me recently about how to get started in gardening if you’ve never
gardened before. To quote a good friend: “You can use Google to learn anything…”
However, here is what I call the 4 Ss for successful gardening….
- · Sun – Fruits and vegetables (but not all herbs) enjoy 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
- · Soil – Loamy soil works best, and composting is nature’s way of taking back its own…
- · Space – We all like our space, as do vegetables….
- · Seeds – Better to pay for the good stuff up front - ‘nuff said….

My New Best Garden Friend
I can’t stand the tomato horn
worm, as they have demolished numerous tomato plants of mine over the years. So
it was a nice surprise to see this wasp pick up a baby horn worm and fly off
with it this afternoon….

accomplished at this point in their lives….extended family members that
motivate and challenge me to be better….a church family that supports me
without question or judgement….friends who are incredibly loyal….the
intelligence I am surrounded by at work on a daily basis….I vow to appreciate
the exposure I am exposed to more every day from this point forward….

with my son….but I could have skipped the typhoid shot this morning…..

Last night’s dinner was 4 over easy eggs served on
top of homemade guacamole (pictured) alongside cold leftover bacon dipped in ranch sauce (so good I ate it before I could take a pic, haha)…..

God's Garden....
I know it doesn't look like much, but I felt like
I picked a thousand blackberries in the woods along the outskirts of my
property the past few days (the pic is just what I pulled tonight)....and I
